Water Damage Sewage

A homeowner in Stevenson Ranch, CA called SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale when her garage ceiling began dripping water. Upon inspection, our team found that the contaminated water affected the entire bathroom and the bedroom closet next to it. Due to the contaminants, all affected materials would need to be removed. SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale first removed the closet carpeting and pad. Next, we applied a disinfectant to the flooring and walls and set up a dehumidifier to stabilize the environment. SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale placed a plastic containment along the closet opening to protect the living space outside of it. We then cut out the damaged drywall, baseboard and insulation. We applied a disinfectant to the shear wood and took down the containment. The home owner could now call her contractor to finish the work!
