Filter water damage

A restaurant owner in Porter Ranch, CA contacted SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale when a water filter burst and damaged various areas of their dining area. The owner was extremely worried he would have to close his business to have the restaurant properly cleaned, but SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale offered after hour services so that his business was not affected.  Our team arrived on the scene and found that the water loss had damaged the bar, two restrooms, kitchen and hallway. The restaurant owners had mopped up as much as they could but the tile floors, drywall and cabinetry were all still wet. SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale cut out the damaged drywall in this hallway shown and wiped down the cavities with an antimicrobial solution. We tented the area and placed dehumidifiers inside to dry out the remaining materials overnight and prevent secondary damage. When SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale returned all of the materials were dry and the restaurant was pleased the disaster was cleaned up without having to lose any business.
