Parquet flooring damage
A homeowner called SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale 2 days after experiencing a dishwasher overflow throughout her kitchen and entryway. Although she mopped up the mess herself, she was concerned about mold growth. SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale found that many of her wood parquet flooring in her entryway and kitchen was still wet and had begun to warp. We also found wet walls and baseboards. Due to the delay in mitigation from the date of loss, we placed dehumidifiers to stabilize the environment and prevent secondary damage. SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale removed the warped tiles and disinfected the slab beneath. We also removed the wet plaster walls and baseboards. The homeowner was thrilled that she could now call her contractor to come finish the job!
