Roof Leak Water Damage

Sometimes when we discover additional water damage to be present at a property, we are asked to only dry-in-place and do no removal or demolition. Although some water damage situations do require us to remove ‘grossly contaminated materials’, in this case, we were able to “float” the carpet (applying air movement underneath the carpet to force-dry faster) to speed up the drying time. After applying an organic, anti-microbial based solution to prevent further bacteria from spreading, we recommended (marked with tape) affected drywall removal. Even though management for the building decided not to move forward with the wall removal, we were able leave the customer happy with the results and thrilled for how we kept them updated every step of the way.
