Pipe water damage

A home owner in Chatsworth, CA called SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale when a pipe in the wall between two rooms burst damaging the home. In the bathroom shown, SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale removed the vinyl flooring and set up dehumidifiers to stabilize the environment and prevent secondary mold damage. Our team then scraped the floor and applied a disinfectant. In the bedroom with the shared wall, we removed wet plaster walls and baseboards and applied disinfectant. SERVPRO of Crescenta Valley/East Glendale was able to dry the bedroom carpeting in place and that was not removed. After just 12 days, all the remaining materials were dry and clean and the homeowner was able to call her contractor to finish the job!
